Participation of the Iraqi-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Seventh Iraq Oil and Gas Conference held in Basra – Oil Cultural Center, attended by the Iraqi Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdulghani Al-Saud, and the honorable Governor of Basra, Mr. Asaad Al-Eidani, along with the participation of major Iraqi and foreign oil companies.

During the event, Dr. Sami Kashkool, the Secretary-General of the Iraqi-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and the Iraqi Minister of Oil. Discussions revolved around the Iraqi Ministry of Oil’s participation in the upcoming inaugural World Conference on Development and Investments organized by our chamber in Doha, Qatar. The conference will focus on investments in oil, gas, banking, and infrastructure.

The meeting of the Secretary-General, Dr. Sami Kashkoul, with His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and the Iraqi Minister of Oil involved discussions regarding the support and participation of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil in our chamber’s inaugural World Conference on Development and Investments. The conference, focused on oil, gas, banking, and infrastructure investments, is scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar on February 7-8, 2024.

The Secretary-General, Dr. Sami Kashkoul, had a meeting with Mr. Agnati Volnov, the Coordinator of the General Headquarters of LUKOIL. The dialogue focused on discussing the company’s participation in our chamber’s inaugural World Conference on Development and Investments. The conference, dedicated to oil, gas, banking, and infrastructure investments, is scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar on February 7-8, 2024.
