During the World Banking Conference for Development and Investments in Nicosia, Cyprus, under the sponsorship of the Central Bank of Iraq, hosted by the Iraqi-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Awards were presented to Iraqi banks by the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Dr. Sami Kashkul, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Dr. Ali Al-Alaq, in the presence of a select group of private and government Iraqi banks and the Director General of the Cyprus Investment Authority.
